Piano and Vocal

Grace Skinner M.M. is a professional Mezzo-Soprano singer, pianist and composer originally from La Center, Washington. She holds her Master of Music degree from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and her Bachelor of Music degree from Portland State University. 

Ms. Skinner has received training as a vocal fellow at various prestigious young artist programs including the Aspen Music Festival and Music Academy of the West.  Grace also has experience teaching beginning, intermediate and collegiate level students, and teaches piano, vocal technique and theory.  She began teaching in 2016 and was an associate instructor of voice at the Jacobs School of Music from 2018-2020. In addition to teaching, Ms. Skinner has much stage experience and has performed in many operatic roles. In addition to her classical training, which began on and off from the young age of seven, Ms. Skinner also enjoys teaching musical theater and jazz.
