Tyler Martin is a multifaceted musician from Lunenburg, MA, excelling as a pianist, composer, tenor singer, conductor, and music educator. With experience directing the Contemporary Vocal Ensemble and Opera Theater at CalArts, Tyler holds degrees in music performance and composition from Keene State College, along with a Master of Fine Arts in Performance and Composition from the California Institute of the Arts. Tyler has played and taught piano throughout their life, and is passionate about sharing music with students. Their compositions delve into the vast possibilities of the human voice, emphasizing both solo and choral works. Tyler's enthusiasm for singing has made them an active choral singer and director, recently performing with the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles and leading the Contemporary Vocal Ensemble at CalArts.
