Payment Policy:
Lesson payment is due by the first of the month covering the month of lessons. Late payments made after the 7th will accrue an additional ten dollar late payment fee. If you decide to start taking lessons mid-month your tuition will be prorated. Solomon Guitar Studio has a no refund policy.
Discontinuing Lessons:
Without prior agreement, such as a trial lesson or gift certificate, lessons are scheduled on an ongoing basis. Students/parents must give 7 days notice to discontinue lessons in order to not be responsible for the coming weeks lesson.
Cancellation and Make-up lesson Policy:
If a student needs to cancel a lesson and wants to receive a makeup lesson, the studio must receive notice no later than 8 pm the day before the missed lesson, unless an emergency occurs. In the event of an emergency or if the student becomes suddenly sick, please provide as much notice as possible and at least one hour notice in order to receive a makeup lesson. Makeup lessons will not be provided for no-call no-shows. Each student is allowed no more than one makeup lesson per month. Scheduling a makeup lesson is the responsibility of the student/parent. Contact Solomon Guitar Studio within one month of the date of the missed lesson to schedule the makeup lesson. Makeup lessons are only available during open lesson times and are dependent upon availability.
Teacher Cancellation:
In the rare event that a teacher can not attend a lesson, Solomon Guitar Studio will either provide a qualified substitute teacher or offer a make up lesson to the student at the studio’s discretion. Lesson credits will not be passed to the following month unless a teacher has to cancel and cannot make up the lesson.
Vacation:
If the student needs to miss several lessons due to a family holiday or vacation, let us know and we can prorate the month of lessons. There may be a small hold fee if the student wishes to hold the their current day and lesson time.
